Turnover spreader beam
Application & load handling
Turnover spreader beams are used wherever heavy, bulky or asymmetrical components need to be safely turned by crane and accurately positioned – for example, in steel construction, mechanical engineering and the handling of large structures. They enable controlled turning of components that would be difficult or risky to handle using conventional lifting equipment.
Depending on the design, the load is secured using lifting belts or chains. This ensures a stable, secure grip on the component, keeping it safely guided throughout the entire turning process.
The even distribution of forces across the turnover spreader beam allows the load to be turned in a controlled manner and gently brought into the desired position – safely, repeatably and efficiently in everyday crane operations.
Easy to get started!
Attach the load, secure it, and you’re ready to go. There is no need for complex auxiliary structures or two-crane operation – the spreader beam handles the entire turning process safely.
Safe control
The turning process can be stopped at any time and controlled remotely via radio from a safe distance. Even asymmetrical loads can be moved in a controlled manner thanks to independently controlled drives.
Quick to operate!
No lengthy preparation or extensive safety barriers required. If the load is suitable, you can get started straight away – flexible to use with almost any crane.

Electrically adjustable turning units
Synchronous adjustment via a spindle drive.

Load pick-up via endless chains

Adjustable suspension under load
Automatic spindle-driven positioning above the load's centre of gravity.

Battery-powered
Two interchangeable battery packs, digital voltage and remaining runtime display, and up to approx. 1,000 charging cycles.

Support feet
Recommended in accordance with DGUV Rule 109-017 to ensure the lifting device can be stored securely and prevent it from tipping over.

Stand
For safely storing the turnover spreader beam when not in use.

Important information on use
- Round sling hooks must not be routed through the rollers of the drive unit.
- The contact surfaces for the lifting belts must be free from sharp edges, burrs and abrasive surfaces to prevent damage to the belts.
