Telescope coil inner grab
Application & load handling
Telescope coil inner grabs are designed for the safe and gentle handling of strapped steel coils and other hollow cylindrical loads with a vertical axis. They are particularly suitable for handling stacked slit coils lying on their sides, enabling fast and safe load pick-up without the need for a pallet.
The load is picked up by the coil inner diameter. The telescopic gripping arms extend into the coil eye and engage underneath the load from the inside. This allows coils of different dimensions to be picked up safely and transported reliably.
The robust design is engineered for continuous industrial operation and high load cycle counts. A mechanical load safety system provides additional safety throughout the entire lifting process.

Delivery

Variants & options
Blocking system
Patented, self-locking drive system that reliably prevents the grab from opening unintentionally when tilted or in the event of a collision.
Spindle drive system
Self-locking trapezoidal lead screw drive system for operating the gripping arms. Provides a high level of protection against unintentional opening of the grab when tilted or in the event of a collision.
Turning unit
Integrated grab turning unit for precise positioning of the telescope coil inner grab. Rotation range up to 320° with automatic rotation range limitation, optionally with an additional 4 × 90° stop positions. Additional dead weight: +400 kg.
NOVA Plus module
Intelligent add-on module with an integrated XXL touchscreen for displaying the load weight and all relevant operating and maintenance data. Records the load spectrum and remaining service life in real time, enabling predictive, needs-based maintenance planning.
