Crane hook block
The crane hook block is the heart of every crane system – and that’s exactly how we treat it.
With extensive experience, technical expertise and a keen eye for detail, we develop robust solutions that stand up to the demands of everyday operation.
Each design is precisely tailored to its operating environment and reliably withstands corrosion, heat, dust and moisture.
Matched to the trolley’s load capacity and drive group, the result is a component that does more than simply move with the crane – it supports the entire operation: durable, robust and built for demanding continuous use.

We give crane hook blocks a second chance!
Not every crane hook block belongs on the scrap heap. With experience, care and technical expertise, we bring your crane hook blocks back into shape.
Whether it’s a repair, refurbishment or complete overhaul – we inspect, recondition and replace all relevant components as required.
This turns a crane hook block that has seen years of service into a reliable partner for daily operation, ready for many more hours of service.
Applications & load handling
Crane hook blocks are key components of the load handling system of crane installations and form the connection between the reeving system and the lifting device. They ensure reliable load transmission when lifting, lowering and moving loads, making them essential for safe and dependable crane operation.
Depending on the requirements, crane hook blocks are available with single or double hooks and with two or more sheaves.
The design is individually tailored to the required load capacity, reeving configuration and rope arrangement. Different reeving configurations, sheave spacings and sheave diameters allow for a wide range of variants, each precisely designed for the specific application.
Custom instead of standard
Each crane hook block is individually designed to match the load capacity, operating conditions and drive group – based on experience and technical expertise.
Robust for continuous use
Designed for demanding industrial conditions, crane hook blocks feature a robust construction and high-quality sheaves housed in protected enclosures. This ensures reliable long-term performance, even under heavy loads.
Easy maintenance
The well-thought-out design with easily accessible components enables straightforward maintenance. Roller-bearing sheaves are designed for long service life and can be easily relubricated through the axle – helping to reduce downtime during operation.

Good to know!
Heat or cold?
As standard, our crane hook blocks are designed for operating temperatures from -20 °C to +100 °C. Other temperature ranges are also possible, but require precise information about the operating conditions. Higher temperatures, such as those encountered in foundries, can generally also be accommodated without difficulty by selecting suitable materials and optimizing the heat protection design.
Can the crane hook be freely selected?
The design as a single or double hook can be freely selected, as can the strength class of the hook. Together with the load capacity, this determines the crane hook size.
In general, the higher the strength class, the smaller the crane hook can be designed for the same load capacity. For example, a load capacity of 16,000 kg can be achieved either with a crane hook No. 8 of strength class P or with a crane hook No. 4 of strength class V.
